For women in leadership positions, aligning personal values with organizational mission is a powerful strategy for both career advancement and overall satisfaction. When a woman openly and confidently incorporates the “real her” into how and why she works, she becomes more authentically invested in every aspect of her responsibilities and opportunities. Our work with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and the Women’s Leadership Experience (a specialized audience program) stepped outside the traditional confines of this world-class leadership development institution to leverage a bold, high-energy promise to an audience of high-achieving women.
Women in leadership positions are confident and ready for almost anything. Well-experienced at navigating corporate terrain, they know how to be strong, effective, and resourceful. But even the most successful women often need help aligning their personal and career values, which is exactly what it takes to rise in senior management while staying true to one’s self. Kick Some Glass leveraged the brand equity of CCL as part of the newly revamped Women’s Leadership Experience (WLE) while capturing the bold, confident, comfortable-in-her-own-skin attitude of women ready to rise.
Not only are there fewer women in senior leadership positions, but women are also less likely to be strategically visible in their organization, advocate for themselves, and develop effective networks, mentors and organizational supporters.
Women’s Leadership Experience concept development work explored a range of ideas from brand evolution to brand revolution both in look and language.
When women align their personal and professional values, the result is a stronger vision of their leadership potential and a greater capacity for career growth.
